Web Journal

So, I was talking to my Girlfriend about Babies, and in our conversation it became very clear that she understood dates much more clearly than I did. When I asked why, she mentioned that she had written them down in her Journal. So, I began thinking of writing my own.

Her journal is written down in a book, which she keeps hidden because she likes secrets. But, I don't like to keep secrets. I like all but my passwords to remain anonymous.

So then I thought: what is my privacy, what is her privacy? If I talk about sexual information will that be too private for her? Where does her right to privacy end, and where does my right to free speech begin? What are general guidelines for what I should ask her about before I publish?

I would really appreciate some help in this area, because a good deal of the information is going to be sexual. Please leave comments.

Tax cuts are causing the our ecconomic problems, not solving them

February 15
Tax cuts will be an expensive lesson
The Tax cuts in the new stimulus bill will be another expensive lesson.
The Senate has again failed to function.

What people who are praising Tax cut right now don't understand, is that all of that money goes over seas.
If you give tax cuts to small, medium, or large businesses the money goes directly into the hands of the foriegners.
Try thinking Like a buisnes owner. What would you do with money to survive?

1. If you want to hire workers, it is more competitive to outsource the work because american labor is too expensive.
2. If you want to buy goods, it is cheaper to import goods from other countries

The Republican party is in trouble.
I am afraid that if some of these miss conceptions about tax cuts are not cleaned up that the Republican party will continue to polarize, more moderate Republicans will be
destroyed by the parties neoconservatives, and the hope of reviving the Republican party will be lost. Their war cry of Tax cuts is their downfall.
Tax cuts are great when you have efficient infrastructure, but without efficient infrastructure it is all wasted.

Tax cuts don't work for Republicans.
I really struggle to think of a single republican who I think can deliver Short term stimulus to small businesses. So they give it to the large companies that they are familiar with, and that money tends
to end up overseas immediately, unless it is tightly regulated; and right now all but a handful of Republican senators and house members know to cut taxes to grow the economy. I am not convinced that if you continue to say "we need short term shot, temporarily, timely and targeted" it is wrong in the context of congress as it exists not. Just because the house republicans and senators only know big businesses, they aren't as familiar with small business. So they are not going to know how to do it.

Tax cuts don't work for democrats.
I really struggle to think of one Democratically elected congressman that could effectively deliver tax cuts either, without it going over seas.

We need more public works.
Your Criticism about the stimulus bill: "This is a wasted opportunity" is right. But not because there are not enough tax cuts... its because the the Tax cuts aren't targeted enough to build large business, and targeting them properly will take too much time. The only thing that is going to build large business domestically at this point are large government spending programs, and large government contracts. Other wise, the large companies will just take the money and run over seas where there is more potential to make cash. If we promise to build something like a rail system, this has a immediate targeted effect as soon as the contract is accepted. Immediately that company starts hiring workers, when people have jobs, they don't have to worry about money, they can pay off their debts, or get loans from banks.

Short term stimulus is not going to work.
It won't build confidence. Confidence is built then you can plan for the future. More short term solutions, will only result in short term results. People can't be confident when the government gives them money directly, they need to know that they will be secure for the next 5 years, not just until the next stimulus package comes along.

When everyone is focused on cost
In this down term ecconomy, people are focused on the short term, and they are financially unable to think about the long term. This is what is killing our ecconomy. Because we can't compete in the global ecconomy anymore.

The bottom line is that cutting taxes hurts the United States Ecconomy and helps the rest of the world. The reason the rest of the world is beating us is because their infrastructure is better. When Healthcare is efficient, the society is healthier. When the society is healthier then people are efficient workers. When people are efficient, then we are more competitive. When the workers are more competitive, they have jobs. When workers have jobs they buy stuff, and the world ecconomy comes back together.
