There is no more Internet only Intranets.

Does www mean anything to you? Or is it just that thing that you have to type before going to a URL.

Well it stands for WORLD WIDE WEB.
As in the whole WORLD.
Not the United States Wide Web, the China Wide Web; or the Ubeki-Beki-Stan-Stan Wide Web.
WORLD!

Why am I ranting about something so obscure? Because I hate idiots and liars like:
www.pandora.com.
www.hulu.com

Here is the message you receive when you try to access these sites from another country:

Dear Pandora Visitor,

We are deeply, deeply sorry to say that due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S. We will continue to work diligently to realize the vision of a truly global Pandora, but for the time being we are required to restrict its use. We are very sad to have to do this, but there is no other alternative.
We believe that you are in SomeCrappyCountry (your IP address appears to be xxx.x.xx.xx). If you believe we have made a mistake, we apologize and ask that you please email us.
If you have been using Pandora, we will keep a record of your existing stations and bookmarked artists and songs, so that when we are able to launch in your country, they will be waiting for you.
We will be notifying listeners as licensing agreements are established in individual countries. If you would like to be notified by email when Pandora is available in your country, please enter your email address below. The pace of global licensing is hard to predict, but we have the ultimate goal of being able to offer our service everywhere.
We share your disappointment and greatly appreciate your understanding.
Sincerely,

Tim Westergen

Enter your email address and we will let you know when Pandora is available in your country
Here is the hulu's obtuse statement:

"We're sorry, currently our video library can only be streaming within the United States. For more information on Hulu's international availability, click here.

If you're inside the United States and believe you've received this message in error, please click here."

If you want to be apart of the World, then don't have a URL like www.pandora.com, and restrict access to the United States. If you wan't to have a web domain that uses the www protocol, then allow other users access to your site, otherwise get off our internet!
And another thing.

.com is an abbreviation for the word COMMERCIAL. If you don't want customers from other countries then try other domain endings like .us, .zh, or .goflockoff

Here is the quick message from the new google Music.
https://music.google.com/music/listen

We're sorry. Google Music is currently only available in the United States.
You would think that the people who wanted to organize the internet could do it properly. How about you don't use the .com because you obviously don't care about the customers who want to do commerce with you.

If you don't want our money, fine, there are always www.thepiratebay.org, and www.kat.ph. Though ironically www.kat.ph doesn't restrict access to the world, and it's not just for people in the Philippines.Another music service only in America. Cooperation's just write off Asia. Well guess who has all the money? That's right... Asia.  But we have worked hard for it, so why offer your premium services to people with money, just continue to compete for an ever shrinking pie of American's in debt.
It appears that you are attempting to use Amazon Cloud Player from outside the U.S. This service is intended for U.S. customers only.

They are all stupid. I don't get it. How stupid do these cooperation have to be? I want to buy your music. What is your problem?
